Hello and welcome to The Anxious Yogi! My name is Michelle and I’m so glad you came to visit 🙂 Here’s what this whole blog-a-log is all about:

I enjoy trying new foods and recipe ideas as well as new fitness routines in my quest to live a healthy lifestyle. My ultimate fitness goal is to have a yoga body, both physically and mentally. However, as the name suggests I am an anxious person, so I find it hard to relax and just “be” which can seriously inhibit my yoga practice at times. (If you want the full story, read my first entry.) And that is why I decided to start this blog–so I could start anew and chronicle my trials and triumphs through my budding yoga practice as well as other health and wellness aspects of my life.
